Promises, Promises ..........

To my delightful heckling friends munchkinofdoom and deinonychus_1, I hereby promise faithfully that provided the world doesn't end, or providing nothing wholly unexpected crops up like fire, flood (ok that one might happen) or total apathy (am I giving you confidence here, darlings?) that I will do my very, very best to post Part 5 of Devil's Crowll on Sunday but ...............

I'm heading off to a friends wedding all day tomorrow, then on Saturday we need to get the dogs from kennels and go to a friends 65th birthday party. so I won't be back in range of a computer until Sunday. I know, excuses, excuses ...................

But I have spent 2 hours today one hour of which was whilst swimming in our local lake, with a cave diving friend making sure that my diving scenario would work!  Boy did we get some funny looks from a couple of fellow swimmers at the strange turns the conversation was taking, especially when I asked him how he would carry an assault rifle through a sump and where it would be in relation to his diving kit. I though one lady was about to swallow a ton of water as she went past and her eyebrows shot up when his only question was "What type of assault rifle?  Bigger than a Kalashnikov or smaller?"  Oh the joy of friends who don't ask why I want to kow these things!  This did rather delay things and has meant I couldn't do final edits and posting tonight, but I needed to make sure that my diving scenario actually worked and wasn't just bullshit on my part!  So I didn't dare press ahead with Part 5, in case I needed to make fundamental alterations.  Oh blimey, this really is taking Porn with Plot too far, but hey, I'm enjoying myself, so who cares!
