Sorry for not reading the latest installment of the ‘A Dangerous Liaison’ series sooner! I really like Gallagher, so I loved the theory you came up with to ensure that he'd survive, not to mention the backstory you created for that previous relationship between him and Athos. I thought both actors had great chemistry on screen, and the characters shared certain traits, such as a strict code of honour.

I think it's clever that you have Gallagher withhold that information until he and Athos have sex. It can be seen as either cunning on his part or an act of kindness after the intimacy they'd shared. That information also ties in nicely with 1.10 as everyone knows about Athos' past by the beginning of the episode (during the charade), so it makes sense that Athos would have made his confession after they'd all returned from the convent. Lastly, I'm happy that Treville knew all along that Gallagher hadn't died and might have suspected that past relationship as well. He certainly knew that there were other things Athos was keeping from them.
