Lester raised one elegant eyebrow.
“The minister keeps turning that funding request down and you keep resubmitting it.”
“Cherub, I feel the need to point out that you have been stripping and reassembling that gun for the last two hours.”
“It’s soothing.”
“So is outwitting the minister.”
“How is sending the same thing in again outwitting him?”
“He always agrees on the fourth resubmission.”
“Why?”
“I have absolutely no idea. And neither has he. That’s why it’s so enjoyable.”
