A/N : Follows Last Chance and Second Chance
The horn rang out from the high tower, sudden and terrible.
Orcs threw themselves on the ground and covered their ears.
“We’re screwed,” Ragduf muttered in disgust. “Hold formation! On me!”
He wheeled his troop away from the shattered gateway as horses galloped out of the fortress.
A moment later he realised the scared kid wasn’t with them. Instead, he was staring at the riders, paralysed with fear.
Ragduf cursed and flung himself at the youngster, snatching him out of the path of a white stallion.
Hooves missed them by a hands’ breadth.
Ragduf hauled him up and they ran.
