“I don’t recall making any pronouncement on the subject of potatoes.”
“Always plan ahead. That’s what you tell us.”
“Bubble and squeak for Boxing Day. But even so, we’ll never get through that lot tomorrow either, not when mixed with the industrial quantities of veg we’ll have left over.”
“Burns’ Night is coming up soon, my little haggis. Now pass me that bag of turnips.”
