A/N : A belated birthday present for louisedennis , to make up for the shared slash she had first time round.

The man she’d come here to find had untidy blond hair and sharp blue eyes. A combination she’d always liked.

He wore faintly dishevelled clothes with a casual disregard for anything other than his own comfort. They were practical clothes that spoke volumes about their wearer’s attitude to life.

He was staring intently at a photograph, pulled from of a battered wallet. She had no doubt that it was a picture of his wife; the wife who had disappeared eight years ago.

She tapped him on the shoulder, “Excuse me?”

Then Claudia Brown gave in to temptation and kissed him.
