lukadreaming who wanted Stephen/Ryan and the prompt rugby.
It was small, brown, furry and it scuttled.
Connor threw himself at it and missed, ending up inches from a cowpat.
Stephen’s attempt was even less successful, and infinitely messier.
Ryan wrinkled his nose in disgust. “What is it with you and dung, Hart?”
“I’d like to see you do better, soldier boy.”
The deinogalerix made a break for freedom.
Cutter waved his coat at it ineffectually.
Ryan sighed, then hurled himself to the ground, catching the creature with both hands, scooping it up and hurling it unceremoniously through the anomaly.
“Think yourselves lucky I didn’t drop-kick the bugger!”

Bloody hell! That looks scary. Ryan's braver than I thought.

Drabble meme successfully completed now. I ended up taking 12 prompts in total, I think.
It's been fun. I might have another go at it over Xmas. I find it easier to do pure drabbles, for some reason, rather than ficlets.

I think the definite length helps. Otherwise it's difficult to know quite when to start or end a ficlet - I find anyway.

*looks at Luka* Is this some attempt at indirect poking?

Ryan wrinkled his nose in disgust. “What is it with you and dung, Hart?” :-)

*carefully carries Stephen off to give him a good strip and scrubbing...*
Love Ryan's no nonsense approach and end line, and Cutter trying his old 'waggling my coat worked with the dodo' trick.

If you want a job doing... :)
