Connor rolled over, moving slowly and languorously, ignoring the slight twinges in places he still didn’t like to think too closely about.

It hadn’t been anything like he’d imagined. Apart from being messy – he’d imagined the messy - but to his relief that had been easily dealt with, and nowhere near as embarrassing as he’d expected.

And he didn’t care about messy, or embarrassing, because it had also been wonderful.

He sneaked his arm around Nick’s waist, and breathed in his ear, “Can we do it again?”

Nick pulled him into a hug, which was all the reply Connor needed.
