In response to a request from Master_Kogane, and with thanks to her for help with uploading pics, I've put a few doggie piccies behind the cut ...................

And I sleep a lot and I only nibbled a tiny corner of the cushion, honest!

He sure is, thanks! He seems to have mostly finished the chewing phase and his destruct count was pretty low, so we can't grumble. He's great in the house and very good off the lead, so he's a joy to take for a walk. And he's a past master of the art of cute! And he gets on like a house on fire with Her Highness. They're definitely partners in crime when they're dashing around the woods.

And in the third one of Crisp, he had probably just fallen asleep after nibbling the corner of the cushion! Now repaired and moved to a place of safety. But they are certainly both cuties.

Still haven't got my head back together yet, so sorry it's taken so long to say the dogs really are a pair of cuties, it doesn;t take a lot of imagination to see how they rule the house!!

You could say that, two thirds of my staff have been on leave/Term Time off/Sick.

That left just three of us to deal with the usual August "oh dear, we've cancelled your claim in error, why don't you go to the local tax office and shout at them, they can't pay you, but you will feel better for slagging them off personally" scenario the Tax Credit Office causes every year through their sheer ineptitude.

I don't mind being busy, but four hundred, mostly irate, callers a day for four solid weeks does tend to take the wind out of your sails... and in the middle of that lot, my mam took ill so every spare minute saw me racing up and down the M4 like the proverbial yoyo...

But it's September now, my tardy staff are creeping back, batteries recharged and ready to go, and I'm about to collapse for the next two weeks and do precisely nothing.

Oh, the joys of the working woman... you know, I'd much prefer to stay home and read Stephen and Ryan... much less tiring, no one to swear at me in a mulitude of languages, and a lot more enjoyable.

*MEEP* Poor you, *sends hugs, gin (or alcholic beverage of your choice) + cookies (or confectionary of your choice) & sympathy*. Sound like that really has been a shitty time Hope you mum is better now, and that you do get some rest and recuperation. You certainly deserve it!

I know you've seen DC7, but did you find the two random bits of shortish Stephen/Ryan smut I posted just for light relief? If not, Cold Haily Windy Night, and Keeping Pets might amuse you. Sounts like S/R smut is much needed!! I'm working on DC 8 now ..... the end is in sight! (But there will be more to follow ......)

Lol. Technically Wally is my dad's dog and not mine but whenever I turn up (most weekends) he's al over me. He knows who's going to make the most fuss of him :D He likes to curl up with his head on my knee and he's adorably cute.

Thaks, and you can see from these how awesomely talented Ros is with her drawings. She's caught my two absolutely spot on. I really meant it when I said I thought hers are profiessional standard. I;ve certainly seen people charging for pet portraits who can't hold a candle to her talent.

Couldn't agree more!

It's very easy to say, "That's good!" if you're comparing someone's work to stick men, but her stuff is truly fab.

So many people who draw from photos end up with something a little bit wonky, though acceptable.

I shall be so very happy to add my boy's portrait to my collection of family photos, and I've told her so!

And it has to be said, that for a moment, her third pic of Crisp had me fooled for the photo the others were taken from.
