Danny Quinn lounged in the doorway of Lester’s office, a large stick slung casually over his shoulder.

His hair straggled around his sun-tanned face in bleached rats’ tails, his beard wasn’t much better, his clothes were filthy and in tatters, and he looked like he hadn’t eaten a decent meal in months.

But more importantly, Danny was wearing one of his trademark grins and he was very much alive.

Watched by nearly everyone in the ARC, Lester happily consigned what was left of his reputation to the dustbin of history and welcomed his lover back with a kiss.
