“You’re acting as devil’s advocate for a virus that’s killed something like 300 million people worldwide?” Lester raised an eyebrow questioningly.

“Yes. For all we know, smallpox might hold the key to curing an as yet unknown disease. Would you take responsibility for the destruction of an entire species?”

“Didn’t you watch the live stream from the House of Commons yesterday, Cutter?” Lester retorted.

Nick grinned. “Good point, well made. Yes, that’s one big red destruct button I’d quite happily press.
