A week ago today we had to say goodbye to our darling Lady Lurcher, so it seems somehow fitting that this afternoon we welcomed the lovely Gwen Greyhound into the family.

Mr FB and I are delighted to announce that Lady Lurcher now has a new friend. We have had the lovely Trigger on a home trial for a day and a half and have just pone the rescue to say yes, we definitely want to adopt him. They were delighted and so are we.

His history is that he was confiscated by the dog warden off travellers in Wales who had maltreated him. he's never lived in a house before by has taken to it like a duck to water. He gets on well with Lady, and is very quiet in the house. He's about a year old.

Five weeks ago, we said goodbye to our beloved Bonnie. We always knew we would get another dog, and after a week of sadfaced lurcher, Crisp, we went to Dorset to meet a rescued lurcher called Lady. The pictures of her on the rescue website hadn't done her justice and we hadn't been expecting to see Crisp's dark twin.
