Flirting is soooooooo not the same as slash. I know loads of straight guys who flirt with each other *grins*. Very early on in DC, as deinonychus pointed out a while ago, Stringer tells an ever-so-slightly jealous Stephen something like "Lyle doesn't go with men." But I won't poke you with forks to read any L/L follow up *grins again*, even though I might give in to the Het Hares of Doom and write some !

But as for Cutter, you are absolutely right, and I don't see me slashing him any time soon (if at all). Love reading it, but in my fic-verse he's firmly chasing after Miss Brown. A "loaning pants" fic, maybe ???

I once leant a pair of mine to a male friend after a caving trip when he'd forgotten spares, and he then got wet to the waist. Half way back home down the motorway, he suddenly wondered what people would think if we were in a car crash and he was found in the wreckage wearing women's underwear. I point out that would probably be the least of his worries in thecircumstances, but he still had to wear a worried frown, and my pants, for the rest of the journey.
