Thanks to lsellersfic in her Evil Enabler mode, I decided to have a go at the fandom_stocking thing and have hung up a stocking HERE and loads of other people I know have done the same. If you hit the Primeval tag on the comm you'll see everyone who has listed that as their fandom. I've put a few others down as well. I think the idea is that nice people might stuff something in your stocking, like comment fic, icons, good wishes, recs or anything and if you're so inclined you do the same for others, but it's not a rule as far as I can tell.

Anything put in the stocking remains screened until the reveal sometime early in the new year.

I'm also told that it helps if you pimp your stocking at your journal, and there's also a post on primeval_denial about it HERE and there's a fandom stocking tag as well.

So if any of you wonderful folks wanted to stuff my stocking, so to speak, *g*, that would be lovely! And by all means let me have a link in comments here to your own stocking if you'd like to.
