I don't normally do these LJ things that pop up from time to time, but LJ has just reminded me that today is my 19th anniversary on LJ and despite all the changes of ownership and the problems of LJ now being Russian owned against the backdrop of the war against Ukraine, I'm still here and this site and the friends I've made are still important to me. LJ has been here for me through death, disaster, many dogs, many lost friends and an awful lot of words, mine and other people's. There's been a huge amount on fun on various comms — PUPPIES! yes, real puppies — and the wonderful Primeval Denial and Primeval100, still going many years after the demise of our beloved show, and friends made online and offline. What I hope for in the new year is a lasting peace in the world and brighter days for everyone. And yes, I know we're unlikely to see herds of unicorns grazing in the sunlit meadows, but a doggie can hope! So for everyone I've known on LJ over the past 19 year — here's to you all, as well as Frank! Thanks for the fun, and thanks for still being here!
