Title : Missing
Author : fredbassett
Original Fic : Otherworld Investigations Series
Rating : 12
Characters : Briana Wakelin, Dennis Smith

Summary : Written for the original fic challenge, Investigation.
A/N : I am aiming to write a series of drabbles or ficlets set in my original fic ‘verse for weekly prompts.
I made my way slowly through the woods. Blue bells clustered thickly in a pale purple haze, beautiful but ominous.
The Seeker Spell tugged me relentlessly up a set of wooden steps and across a park towards a low mound where it finally dispersed like mist in sunlight.
“Bugger, she’s crossed the Veil.”
“Can we go after her?” Dennis asked.
I shrugged and opened the pouch on my belt to draw out a white feather.
I wasn’t going to risk an unauthorised entry into the Otherworld just for Mrs Henderson’s missing spaniel.
Hopefully, I’d catch Aiden in a helpful mood.
