“You’re three days late, Quinn.”
“Better late than never, eh?”
“Are you back for good this time, or is this just another flying visit?”
“It’s for good.” Danny’s voice was flat and controlled.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“No. I want to go back to your flat, have a hot shower, a decent meal and maybe a shag.”
Lester smiled. “I think that can be arranged, Mr Quinn.”
And if Danny didn’t want to talk about what had happened with his brother, then that was fine.
Danny was back, that was all that mattered.
