With temperatures rapidly climbing to even more ridiculous heights, the ARC’s air-conditioning gave up the unequal struggle and died.
At the request of the Head of Maintenance, Lorraine Wickes sent a stiff email to Lambeth Palace. The Archbishop’s private secretary returned appropriate condolences and offered to take Lorraine for lunch should she ever be in Canterbury.
The soldiers lounged around the lake in various states of undress.
Eventually, just as a state of national emergency was about to be declared, Lester succumbed to peer pressure and removed his tie.
An incredulous Lyle promptly took a selfie with him as proof.
