Lester swallowed hard, just once and then stabbed one finger down on the map.

“I think you’ll find that is a suitable place to keep watch, Captain.”

Ryan doubted it very much. There was nothing on that moor other than an endless expanse of bog. A cold, dismal, endless expanse of bog, actually.

Still it was worth it for the frozen expression on Lester’s face and also for the memory of a tongue against his, just for an instant, circling and teasing which would amuse him during a cold, wet night.

Damn it. This game was getting out of hand.
