primeval100 Challenge 247, Odd One Out
Lester had barely put his key in the lock before his neighbour appeared in the corridor, a worried frown on her face.
“Eleanor? Is everything all right?”
“It’s Ramsey,” she said. “He got out this morning and I haven’t seen him since. I wondered if perhaps he’d slipped past you when you were going out.”
He smiled reassuringly. “I’ll check. Don’t worry, you know what he’s like, he won’t have gone far.”
And indeed he hadn’t. A quick look in the kitchen confirmed that an exceedingly large ginger cat was curled up in a basket between two sleeping diictodons.
