Claudia walked into the kitchen to find her at the table neatly set with a kitted woollen mat (yellow).

Freshly brewed coffee had already been poured into a china mug (also yellow).

A timer pinged and a moment later, a boiled egg was taken out of the pan, popped into an eggcup and topped off with a little knitted cosy. (Yes, you’ve guessed it, yellow.)

Two slices of bread popped up out of the toaster and were liberally smeared with (yellow) butter and neatly cut into soldiers.

Claudia always enjoyed the days when it was Dave’s turn to make breakfast.
