Summary : Written for the Primeval100 challenge 322, Expect the Unexpected
Finn leaned against a tree, bored sick.
The professor claimed they weren’t at risk of anything coming through, but no one wanted to take a risk.
After three hours, a large white rabbit with pink eyes dashed out of the anomaly and ran past him.
Finn blinked. The bloody thing had been wearing a waistcoat, carrying a pocket-watch and muttering something.
“Are you taking the piss, laddie? There aren’t any rabbits in the pre-Cambrian,” Cutter exclaimed when Finn radioed the news.
The professor sounded incredulous even though Finn hadn’t actually mentioned the waistcoat and pocket-watch.
“There aren’t now,” Finn agreed.
