The anomaly project was nothing but unanswered questions.

The scientists didn’t know what caused the rips in time, although Cutter and Sarah believed they’d been appearing throughout recorded history, citing dragon myths and Egyptian crocodile gods to support their view.

Anomalies in the fossil record suggested that the phenomena had also occurred during prehistoric times.

All too many questions and all too few answers.

But the answer with the biggest jackpot of all riding on it wouldn’t win anybody a Nobel Prize.

Practically everyone in the ARC had a tenner riding on what type of hairspray the new captain used.
