A/N : “There is a time for many words, and there is also a time for sleep.” Homer – The Odyssey.
Lester would be lying if he said the last four months had been anything other than complete torment.
Even his security clearance hadn’t been high enough to allow him any details of the mission that had taken away four members of his security team, and when three not four had returned, Lester had feared the worst.
And hadn’t stopped fearing it ever since.
But when Lyle, gaunt and hollow-eyed, had arrived home unannounced, Lester knew there would be time for words later. For now what his lover needed was food, drink and, most of all sleep.
Anything else would wait.
