Lester hadn’t envisaged spending Christmas Eve dashing around London, but it was certainly preferable to the office party.

The anomaly on the terrace at the House of Commons had disgorged several pygmy tyrannosaurs.

Danny Quinn had attended the call-out in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. Everyone had agreed Cutter should stay away.

The anomaly cluster in Harrods had resulted in the sight of a triceratops in a Santa hat.

The one in Trafalgar Square had ended up with a pterosaur on Nelson’s head.

All in all, it had been a surprisingly entertaining evening.

And Harrods’ mince pies were exceedingly nice.
