Members of the anomaly response team jumped up from their workstations.
“Broadsword calling Danny Boy! Broadsword calling Danny Boy!”
Danny Quinn abseiled from the second floor into the atrium.
Soldiers made for the armoury at a run.
“Broadsword calling Danny Boy! Broadsword calling Danny Boy!”
The call came from the team’s mobile phones, as well, including Lester’s.
He winced. That was going to have to go.
Connor Temple might be a genius, but he had some annoying habits. Reprogramming Lester’s phone was one of them.
