“Water, water, fucking water everywhere…” Kermit muttered, his short hair plastered to his head by the teaming rain.
“Don’t remember that word from English lit,” Claudia said.
“Does look a bit like an albatross,” Connor commented, surprising her by knowing the quote.
The large prehistoric bird let out a disconsolate squawk, no more enamoured of the rain than the ARC team.
“What flavour is it?” Finn asked.
“Fucking seabird flavour!” Kermit retorted.
The lads weren’t keen on poetry but they had been mainlining Monty Python sketches all week.
“Gannet on a stick!” she said loudly.
They all looked suitably impressed.
