“Where is it?” Ryan sounded calm, surprising after a 30 minute detour around the outskirts of Birmingham in the middle of the night.
“Sorry about the sat nav,” Connor muttered.
“That’s fine, we didn’t need it, mate,” Finn said.
If looks could have killed, he would have been carted off in Santa’s sleigh.
Stephen looked up, hoping he wouldn’t see one in the sky. The day had been bad enough, without that.
“In there.” Cutter pointed at upper window of the Georgian house.
The lights sparkled brightly against the dark window.
“Christmas lights,” Claudia said briskly. “I’ll let James know.”

Date: 2019-12-04 12:14 am (UTC)Without the reminder I would have come home and gone to bed and then been very pissed off tomorrow morning about breaking my streak. Funny how in the middle of the country going to hell in a handcart that it's the 'small' things that matter a lot!
Thank you!!!

Date: 2019-12-04 08:17 am (UTC)Considering what the anomalies have spit out over the years, I'm not surprised that Stephen kept a weather eye out for Santa!
And dear Finn, he is a genius at making things worse...
