“We’re back!” Becker called to his father, dropping to his knees as three excited bundles of fur hurtled towards them down the hallway, paws flying.

With half of the team off on a deniable op in one of the world’s hot spots, Becker and Ryan had been run ragged by an anomaly cluster creating havoc in Bedfordshire.

Becker knew Allan was happy to help, but that didn’t stop him feeling guilty when they were late home again.

But five minutes later, with a wriggling pup under each arm and another balancing precariously on his head, Becker finally started to relax.
