“Hay fever?” Lorraine hazarded, as another gargantuan sneeze ricocheted around the atrium.
On the floor below, several technicians promptly made an excuse to take an early lunch break.
Lester winced. “I sincerely hope so, but despite rumours to the contrary, I do read the reports. Large, bright yellow flowers puffed pollen over the team. And we all know how that usually ends up…”
“You’ve been hanging around the internet too long, Sir James.”
“I’ve been hanging around Mr Temple for too long, Ms Wickes.”
Lorraine grinned. “Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun?”
“So I’m told. Sadly, I wouldn’t know.”
