A/N : I succeeded in doing the Primeval100 drabble challenge every week in both 2009 and 2010 and I aim to do the same again this year.
The man lounging in the doorway to Lester’s office was dirty, bearded and gaunt.
His feet were bare, his skin was tanned and his sun-bleached hair looked like it had been cut short with the aid of nothing more than a sharp stone.
“Hi, honey, I’m home,” Danny drawled.
“What time do you call this?” Lester demanded.
“Damn, I knew I should have stopped for flowers. Did you keep my dinner warm?”
“No, I fed it to Mrs Forsyth’s cat.”
Danny grinned. “Don’t I get a kiss?”
And, to the delight of the rest of the team, Lester obliged him.
