Ryan sneezed.

Stephen jumped.

The tranquillizer dart hit a sheep.

Cutter glared.

The farmer looked unimpressed.

The sheep looked surprised and keeled slowly over.

Ryan rummaged through the pockets of his tac vest, sniffing.

Stephen’s next shot caught the fleeing predator in the shoulder.

The farmer started to relax.

Search concluded, Ryan brandished the illusive handkerchief in triumph and remembered slightly too late what he’d last used it for. Apart from cleaning his guns.

The stains were all too obvious.

Stephen grinned. He’d told Ryan to use tissues.

Connor snickered.

Ryan sighed.  Maybe he’d start taking the tablets after all.

I'm agreeing with entangled_now and deinonychus_1 (and possibly also myself!) about the sheep! Poor sheep *pets*

And I love that it's Ryan with hayfever, cos my normal instinct would be to go with Connor for something like that! Poor Ryan *pets* ;-)

From the 1st line right to the last, a smirk was forming and turning into a bark of laughter earning a very odd look from the dog.

Sheep like polo mints. I kid you not, there was this time years ago when I was on holiday in Scotland with my parents, and we stopped in a layby to admire the view, and a sheep ambled over to the car, and my mum fed it a polo mint, just to see if it would eat it. The sheep then practically tried to get in the car with us to get to the rest of the packet!

*offers sheep polo mints, then beats hasty retreat*

I thought for a moment that we had more sex pollen fic! Who was it that wrote Primeval sex pollen fic? Was it you? *tries to remember*

And I too offer my commiserations to the poor sheep. Talk about serving the predator its meal on a plate! *g*

And I love how the farmer just took the whole thing in his stride, upset more by the sheep being tranquilised than by an escapee from Jurassic Park stalking his flocks!

Most farmers I know are far to calm to worry about stalkers from Jurassic Park! But idiots with rifles are another thing entirely ....
