A/N : I am aiming to write a series of drabbles or ficlets set in my original fic ‘verse for weekly prompts. This ended up as nothing more than a drabble because I forgot what day it was.
The soft shadows of evening were enveloped the wood. Aiden and I walked slowly, in companionable silence.
We’d had one of those rare days, undisturbed by argument, when all we’d done was mooch around watching children’s television and eating takeaway pizza.
Aiden’s addiction to children’s television was something I’d long since stopped trying to understand.
We stopped in front of the Bronze Age burial mound in Hob’s Close and he brushed his lips lightly across mine. “Goodnight, my lady.”
I returned the kiss. “I’ll record tomorrow’s episode if you lose track of time.”
He smiled and stepped through the Veil.
