A/N : Well, someone had to take the obvious line on this one, so the Hound has obliged.

Lester stared down from the balcony at the serried rows of screens on the Anomaly Detector, all showing the Royal Wedding.

An expectant hush fell over the crowd both in Westminster Abbey and in the ARC.

“I, William Arthur Philip Louis do take…”

The large, spinning ball of light that appeared in the air behind the happy couple drew an admiring noise from several thousand people.

Lester cleared his throat loudly. “Miss Wickes, I feel an urgent need for a holiday. I’m told Outer Mongolia is lovely at this time a year. A one way ticket will be quite sufficient.”

and what emerges from the Anomaly is a Saget, followed by another living emblem of good luck, a Unicorn. (both being human misnamings of actual extinct species)

this is a great drabble. lets hope Helen stops Ethan from opening an anomaly there.

I wouldn't be too keen on a unicorn! Until they got dumbed down by the ickle pretty fairy brigade, that horn was a weapon, and I think you can be pretty sure that the bride isn't a virgin....

This was exactly what I need today. I´m not sure if I´ll be able of see again the image of the couple marrying without thinking about a G-Rex or something going out the anomaly. And Lester was brilliant!
