Summary : Written for primeval100 Challenge 229, Backwards and for the primeval_denial challenge:team fest.

The woman’s disapproval showed all too clearly on her perfectly made-up face.

Her husband, by contrast, watched with barely concealed lust.

Slender fingers reached out and gently stroked Sarah’s cheek. “Do you think he’ll come in his pants if I kiss you?” Jenny asked quietly.

Sarah sighed. “Probably. And she’ll give him hell if he does.”

There were times when Sarah felt the world had gone backwards rather than forwards so far as tolerance was concerned.

But, as ever, she didn’t know whether it was the colour of her skin or her choice of partner that was causing the problem.

I like the contrast between the two drabbles and I think Jenny/Sarah would have made a good couple - such a shame we didn't get to see more of them working together in the show.
