He handled a gun like a professional, indeed he’d been in line for a place in the Olympic shooting team until he’d gone off to save the planet instead.
As Cutter was so fond of telling people, he had tracked wounded animals through the rainforest for up to ten days at a time and could do the same even in an urban environment.
He regularly turned Cutter’s gibberish into sensible reports and was well-practiced at keeping the professor under control.
He’d also slept with Cutter’s wife, which, as far as Lester was concerned, made him an accident waiting to happen.
