“OK, Professor, time to go!”

With a nod to his men to make sure the science team were herded after him and not allowed to linger longer than the allotted time, Ryan stepped through the anomaly.

Instead of being surrounded by the dark trees of the Forest of Dean, he found himself standing in the open on a grassy plain amidst gently rolling hills.

As far as the eye could see, anomalies sparkled in the sunlight like a myriad dancing diamonds.

He’d been there before or somewhere very like it.

The only question was which anomaly would lead them home.

Great disconcerting thing to happen to them - the scientists behave but the anomaly pulls a swifty... Glad that Ryan is there!
