primeval100 Challenge 252, Best Night Ever
Lester stared down at the piece of paper on his desk.
The damage inventory was rather impressive.
The interior of the pub was, to all intents and purposes, a write off.
Tables, chairs, even the bar itself all reduced to matchsticks.
The car park wasn’t in a much better state. One of the creatures had escaped through the back door and had managed to leave a comprehensive trail of destruction outside as well.
And then the team had needed to remain on site until the anomaly finally closed.
The size of the drinks bill rivalled that of the insurance claim.
