“Professor, duck!”
Three months around Ryan had taught Nick Cutter to react first and ask questions later.
His survival usually depended on it.
The rest of the team grinned.
Connor shook an admonishing finger at the Special Forces captain. “You weren’t paying attention in last weeks lecture, were you?”
“At least he didn’t shoot it,” Abby pointed out.
Ryan looked aggrieved and muttered, “Looks like a duck, walks like a duck ……….”
“Has it quacked?”

Date: 2008-01-10 08:20 am (UTC)Have you seen that Ben miller is staring in a new series that starts tonight - 'Moving Wallpaper' - on ITV at 9.00 (I think, you may want to double check that). Also, if you can get hold of it, there's a full page interview with him (with quite nice picture) in today's Metro free newspaper. I don't normally read it, but there was a copy of it on the seat next to me on the bus this morning, and I might have ignored it if it hadn't been left open at that page.
Apparently, before he was an actor, he was doing quantum physiscs at Cambridge university. Random fact for the day.

Date: 2008-01-11 10:03 am (UTC)I love this line an obscene amount. Oh I could have so much inventive fun with this line! The possibilities (most of them filthy granted!)
I also love Ryan learning valuable biological titbit's inbetween shooting stuff.
