Connor was not a believer in revenge being a dish best served cold.

In his opinion, it worked pretty well hot, too.

For all his macho, tough soldier act, Becker wasn’t a lover of hot curries, and when he’d been more annoying than usual on a shout, harassing Connor to lock the anomaly faster, or generally being a pain in the arse, it was an easy matter to get the obliging chef at Spice Junction to pep up the captain’s Friday night curry.

Watching Becker struggle through a vindaloo rather than a madras was a joke that never grew old.

Heh. Can I just say, I remember being a student and silly plans to put laxatives in the milk to work out who was stealing it from the communal fridge, or making cups of salted coffee, or 'hahaha, did I say there was no chilli in it, I totally lied!' seemed to be part and parcel of making food and drinks for each other then.

I grew out of it, but I don't think several of the boys did - and clearly Connor didn't either!

Not being a large man, Connor would have to get his revenge in, shall we say, original ways and he certainly has done so in this instance. Although, it sounds as if he's done it before so Becker really does need to get a clue that he shouldn't piss of our Connor. lol Lovely.
