“What goes black, white, black, white, black, white, thump?” Connor asked brightly, despite six hours watching an excessively boring anomaly.
Abby watched as Becker put his head in his hands and demanded of no one in particular, “Can I kill him?”
“Go for it, boss,” Finn muttered, caressing his rifle in a distinctly suggestive manner.
“I’ll tell you if you like?” Connor offered.
“Don’t bother,” Becker said, looking like he wanted to curl into a foetal position and die.
“A nun falling down the stairs!”
Abby reached for her tranquilliser pistol… Not a jury in the world would convict her.
