A/N : My very favourite comfort food! And Connor’s a good northern lad. Trust me, this is the only way to cook this particular delicacy.
Ryan stared dubiously at the white, quivering mass on the chopping board.
It looked vile.
He chopped it all into inch-sized cubes, and tipped it into the pan with the chopped onion and just a splash of milk, as directed.
The potatoes were easy. Hard to get that wrong.
Twenty minutes later Ryan moulded the spuds into a volcano and tipped the whiteish mess into the middle, ignoring the faint green tinge.
It still looked vile.
Tripe, onions and mashed potatoes, just the way Connor said his Gran had always made it.
Connor’s favourite when he was feeling low.
