The smell of coffee drew Lester out of an unfortunate dream about the Home Secretary dancing naked on a table in a restaurant.

He blinked and the image vanished to be replaced by the sight of a tray of coffee and biscuits on the bedside table with a note that said: Gone for a run.

Also on the tray was an exceedingly large Easter egg, along with another note. That one said: Sorry I’m a crap patient, sweetums. Dinner’s on me.

Lester grinned. It looked like he wasn’t going to have to put Lyle out of his misery after all.

I am very glad to see Lyle knows the way to Lester hard coffee and chocolate.

I really like these small domestic scenes between Lester and Lyle they have such an easy chemistry and charm about them.

But that was very sweet of Lyle, and it's a good thing that the smell of the coffee woke Lester. What a horrendous dream!
