Ryan slumped over, head in his hands.
He was exhausted, mentally and physically, and the fucking noise just wouldn’t stop.
There had been no respite all day and he didn’t think he could take it much longer.
The sound had burrowed into his brain, finding every nerve-ending and scraping them raw.
He knew he was going to snap eventually. It was only a matter of time…
Eventually he jumped up and thumped his fist on the wall. “Turn it down now, you little sod!”
The same thing happened whenever the kid next door was off school.
Ryan fucking hated Genesis.
