Lester looked with approval at a photograph of several chunks cut out of the rock on a wind-swept seashore.
“Did you get them all?”
“There were only three, guv. We got the lot and the rest of the dino tracks are fine.”
“Well done, Mr Quinn. I’m pleased to know that your size tens won’t be puzzling palaeontologists for years to come.”
“Now about my expenses, guv, that B&B wasn’t cheap….”
Lester sniffed derisively. “Think again, Danny. If you hadn’t left your footprints behind in the first place, none of this would have been necessary!”
