“No ice cream,” Becker said, wagging his finger at his kids and their babysitter.
“No probs, boss,” Kermit said cheerfully. “I’ll keep ‘em occupied.”
“With something that doesn’t involve complaints from the neighbours,” Becker pleaded.
When he arrived home, the house was surprisingly quiet, but there were some suspicious-looking floury paw prints in the hall.
“OK, brats, one more and then that’s your lot…” he heard Kermit announce.
The pancake flew up, missed the frying pan and landed on the floor.
The pups promptly devoured it.
Becker winced. He really wished they’d never heard Ryan mention the three second rule.
