They were out of ammunition and had resorted to using rifles and shotguns as clubs, but still the predators kept coming.
Ryan watched as one stalked towards them, blood and saliva dipping from its lipless mouth.
The blood was Finn’s. Ditzy had managed to stem the flow, but they needed to get back through the anomaly – and soon.
“Mine,” Blade declared. “The rest of you, fuck off.”
He stepped up to the predator, knife in hand.
His movements were fast fluid as he engaged in a grim dance to the death.
This was one fight he couldn’t afford to lose.
