“I know, Gilles, they’re a bunch of utter shitgibbons,” Lester said. “And you can add that one to your collection.”
“Merci, mon ami. Are you sure this will not change anything?”
“At the moment, I’m not sure of very much, but I have absolutely no intention of letting this alter our working relationship. And I would be most obliged if you would pass that message on as widely possible.”
“Should I mention shitgibbons?”
“Please do.”
It had taken 24 hours, but at least now Lester had got the message out to the ARCS’s European colleagues.
It was business as usual.
