Ryan had sex with a man for the first time at the age of 28.
He’d had a stinking row with his wife and had gone out on the piss with some of the lads from the base.
The others had pulled birds with no trouble. It wasn’t hard to get laid in Hereford on a Friday night, especially not if you had short hair and a suntan and looked like you could bench press your own bodyweight without breaking sweat.
Ryan ended up shagging a librarian whose wife didn’t understand him.
At least they’d had one thing in common.
