“You need your eyesight tested, mate,” Finn said to Connor. “It’s a fucking great big pteranodon.”
“Nice to know you’ve been paying attention in my lectures, lad,” Nick said, lowering his binoculars.
“One for me or one for Stephen, boss?” Finn asked, his rifle resting in a deceptively casual position against his shoulder.
“One for Stephen,” Nick said firmly. “Just make sure you all stay out of its way when it comes down.”
“I’ll wait in the car,” Claudia commented, equally firmly. “Let me know when it’s safe to come out, boys.”
